She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in theatre at the Simon Fraser University. She worked many years extensively in theatre, before switching to an television/film career. She loves the energy of the audience, the camaraderie between the actors and also how the show changes from night to night.

She opens  her own theatre company called ''Shifting Point Theatre'' with 3 university friends. The friends write, produce and directing professional theatre shows throughout Vancouver.

She practices martial arts for more then 15 years and can be often found in the martial arts studio where she trains numerous times throughout the week. She has a 2nd degree black belt in karate and is a kickboxing instructor.

She told to producer/writer Joseph Mallozzi that she has a black belt in karate, after their meeting somewhere on an set. She told also that she's is trained as kickboxer with result that the show executives have decided to write a character for her in the action TV Series ''Stargate: Atlantis'' (2004) which led to fourteen episodes.

Action Movie Career

She made her acion movie debut as Jamie in this story where the melting permafrost changes the tranquil scenery drastically, beneath the Alaskan landscape in ''Ice Quake'' (2010). There are violent and destructive earthquakes because underground rivers of volatile liquid Methane who are created while the permafrost thaws. It's a race against time to stop the deadly rivers before they lead to a catastrophic explosion that threatens the planet.

She plays Mrs. Hutter in this movie about five individuals who are brought together by Earth herself to be activated with an elemental charge, in order to rectify an urgent unbalance threatening humanity in ''Soldiers of Earth'' (2014).

She plays Carmen in this story about a police officer who returns on duty after he is recovered from a gun shot wound in ''12 Rounds 3: Lockdown'' (2015). He discover incriminating evidence of illegal activities against his fellow cops. He quickly finds himself trapped inside his own precinct, hunted and in search of the truth, as the crooked cops stop at nothing to recover the evidence.

She plays agent Jenkins in this story where a deadly meteor storm has been labeled a oneoff celestial occurrence, but astrophysicist Steve Thomas (played by Mark Lutz) believes something worse is yet to come in ''Meteor Assault'' (2015). He discovers that his asteroid tracking satellite is used secretly for military surveillance. He leaks the truth to the press what costs his reputation, his job and friends. The pressure of a whistle-blower threatens to tear his family apart, just when he discovers a threat to the entire planet: a giant dark invisible asteroid will soon popping on the Earth. She plays Amelia Banks in one episode of the action TV Series ''Stargate: Atlantis'' (2004 - 2009). An international team of scientists and military personnel discover a Stargate network in the Pegasus Galaxy, whenever they come face to face with a powerful new enemy The Wraith.

She plays Amara and Christine Chatelain plays wanderer Riese who travels the world around in search of the truth about her past because she is unable to remember anything of her life before the tragic night when her entire family was slaughtered in ''Riese'' (2009). She travels from nation to nation for years and is only accompanied by wolf Fenrir. She is hunted by a terrifying religious cult named ''The Sect'' who is responsible for the death of her family. She must fight against the assassins of ''The Sect'', who not stop before they have completed their task to kill the last member of the family.

She plays Grinella in one episode where a group of teens fight against video game creatures in the real world in ''Level Up'' (2012).

She plays Dr. Eck in this story where new kid in town Keean Johnson (played by Adam Freeman) discovers that he holds the key of a battle between good and evil, which takes place in a bizarre small town for centuries, where an wide array of supernatural and unexplained occurrences are found in the battle in ''Spooksville'' (2014). 

She plays Pangea in this story about detective Kiera Cameron (played by Rachel Nichols) from the year 2077, who finds herself trapped in present day Vancouver while searching for ruthless criminals from the future in ''Continuum'' (2014).
